Equipment / Music "DJ for You" maintains an extensive music library to accommodate almost every music genre, popular music from as far back as the 1930's to present, as well as a variety of all music types are available. Music requests both in advance and on-site are welcome! With over 40,000 songs in our music library, we are sure to have something everyone likes. Karaoke Even if you are not a singing star, you, friends and co-workers can have a ball with Karaoke! It's fun, exciting, and nothing warms the heart and improves your disposition like belting out one of your old favorites in front of a glowing audience. You don't even have to know the words. Karaoke music is recorded onto CD's and the musical accompaniment sounds just like the recorded music you hear on the radio, except for the omitted lead vocals. Most selections even include background vocals. The words are displayed on a television screen facing the singer, and the words are highlighted when they are to be sung. "DJ for You" has over 12,000 songs, featuring your requested favorites within such categories as - Top 40, Rock, Oldies, 70's, 80's, Country etc. Two microphones are provided, to accommodate duets or groups. With the popularity of American Idol, you may want to create a karaoke contest. We are happy to host the contest, and will assist you with ideas on how to present the contest.
